American Flyer 1927 Standard Scale (Green Eagle Set) Loco # 4643, (Pleasant View) Observation 4042, (1925-1927) (America) Pullman # 4141 Original Boxes. This set was catalogued and sold this way in 1927. The condition is very good to excellent. All original paint.
The engine wheels are not warped and the 2 wheels without the gears slip on their axles. I tested the engine and it didn't run. The engine was manufactured/catalogued only in 1927. Engine paint is excellent. I have owned this set for over 50 years.
The Pullman (America) # 4141 was also only manufactured/catalogued in 1927. It is lithographed and matches the green engine color and has no tanks on the bottom. The Pullman has few flaws and the roof and body are very good to excellent. It has no tanks on the bottom.
The Observation # 4042 was manufactured/catalogued 1925-1927. The roof is painted a darker green. There is a tag on the observation box that refers to the Toy Association going back to WW1. The roof has some paint rub and dent. It has tanks on the bottom. The original boxes have light shelf wear and staining. Very nice sample of this early set. My guess this car was substituted by the factory.
****(Please see all photos)****
PLEASE EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS
PLEASE USE CALCULATOR FOR SHIPPING COST.
PLEASE EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS, THANKS FOR LOOKING!
We will combine shipping, please wait to receive your invoice if purchasing more than one listing until we send you a combined shipping invoice.
